In celebration of four decades of academic collaboration between the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), both institutions are co-organizing the 19th Indonesia–Malaysia Cultural Symposium (SKIM 2025).
This event also marks the 67th anniversary of FISIP Unpad and 19 years of SKIM partnership. Carrying the theme “Navigating Challenges in the Global South: Socio-Cultural, Politics, and Humanities Perspective”, this symposium aims to deepen academic discourse and cultural exchange in response to the shared societal, political, and environmental challenges faced by countries in the Global South.

at Rectorate Building, Unpad Jatinangor Campus, Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia
Participants at SKIM XIX 2025 will have the opportunity to take part in one of the most dynamic conference experiences in the field, with many opportunities specially designed by the Conference Committee Members. All conference sessions are designed to deliver the high quality service to participants while ensuring their objectives are met with the higher level of academic praxis.

1. From Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Jakarta) to UNPAD Jatinangor:
There are several options you can choose from:
Option 1: Using WHOOSH High-Speed Train + Connecting Transport
Route: Soekarno-Hatta Airport ➝ Halim Station (by taxi/Grab) ➝ WHOOSH High-Speed Train to Tegalluar Station ➝ Grab/shuttle to UNPAD Jatinangor.
From Soekarno-Hatta Airport, take a taxi or Grab to Halim Station, then board the WHOOSH High-Speed Train to Tegalluar Station. Upon arrival, continue your journey by Grab or shuttle service to reach UNPAD Jatinangor Campus.
WHOOSH Tickets:
Cost: Approximately IDR 250,000–350,000 (depending on class and schedule).
Note: Travel time from Tegalluar Station to UNPAD is about 20–30 minutes by Grab or local shuttle.
Option 2: Using Regular Train (Kereta Api)
Route: Soekarno-Hatta Airport ➝ Gambir Station (via DAMRI shuttle or airport train) ➝ Train to Bandung Station ➝ Grab/Taxi to UNPAD Jatinangor.
From Soekarno-Hatta Airport, take a DAMRI bus or the airport rail link to Gambir Station, then board a train to Bandung Station. Once in Bandung, take a Grab or taxi to UNPAD Jatinangor, which takes approximately 1 hour.

Cost: Approximately IDR 100,000–250,000 depending on class and schedule.
Option 3: Using Primajasa Bus
Route: Soekarno-Hatta Airport ➝ Primajasa Batununggal Terminal ➝ Grab to UNPAD Jatinangor.
From Soekarno-Hatta Airport, take a Primajasa shuttle bus to Batununggal Terminal in Bandung. From there, continue by Grab or taxi to UNPAD Jatinangor (around 1 hour travel time).
Tickets:
Can be purchased directly at the Primajasa counter at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
Cost: Approximately IDR 120,000–150,000.
2. From Kertajati International Airport (Majalengka) to UNPAD Jatinangor:
Take a travel shuttle service to Sumedang or directly to Jatinangor, then continue by Grab or Gojek to UNPAD Jatinangor Campus.
