The SKIM 2025 International Conference served as a focal point for academics from Indonesia, Malaysia, and other countries to present their thoughts and research findings on challenges facing the Global South. Adopting a hybrid format, the conference fostered inclusive discussions through academic presentations and interactive panel sessions, including three-minute short presentations for young researchers. This event served as a crucial platform for strengthening cross-national and cross-disciplinary understanding of strategic social, political, and humanities issues.
